The Australian War Memorial is the country's remembering of its fallen. The museum has extensive archives that document every conflict in which Australians have fought, from World War I to Iraq--and beyond!

The Australian War Memorial is a must-see for any visitor to Canberra. The memorial, which forms the north terminus of Australia's capital city’s ceremonial land axis and houses one million servicemen who gave their lives during wartime, stands as a testament that we never forget what these men sacrificed so easily on behalf of our country can live freely today!

The Australian War Memorial is an awe-inspiring institution that contains three parts: the Commemorative Area (shrine), including the Hall of Memory and Tomb for The Unknown Soldier; galleries where you can learn more about Australia's history through many different exhibits, as well a research centre which provides access to records on those who have served their country in times gone by. It also houses Sculpture Garden with sculptures dedicated both abroad but especially back home - this way we're able represent our whole nation together even after death!
